Every August, we host our highly anticipated S.H.E Camp – a transformative experience that our S.H.E Programme beneficiaries eagerly look forward to. These camps are designed to encourage, educate, and empower young girls through mentorship, teamwork, creativity, and the exploration of new possibilities. The impact is truly inspiring! We witness our girls from Zimbabwe and Zambia arriving shy and reserved, only to leave with confidence, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose – ready to take on the new school term with unstoppable energy.
A highlight of this journey is welcoming our sponsors and partners to experience the camp firsthand. Last year, we hosted our camp at Lake Kariba, Zimbabwe, and had the privilege of welcoming sponsors and partners from the United Kingdom and Macedonia. Understandably, traveling to a new country can be daunting, but Olive Travel made the entire process seamless. Based in the North West, Olive Travel arranged for a driver to transport me to Luton for my flight, which made my journey seamless and stress-free. They not only booked the flights but also ensured everything was in order by checking me in online.
When I arrived in Skopje, Olive Travel made sure I was picked up at the airport and transported to my accommodation, and at the end of my trip, they arranged my return to the airport as well.
The apartment they secured for me was fantastic – modern, clean, and equipped with great facilities. Additionally, it was within walking distance of the office, which was incredibly convenient.
